Key Tasks for Healthcare Quality Auditor (QA)


The holder of this role:

  • Is accountable for conducting self-inspections and Business Partner audits within UK & IE
  • To ensure the Healthcare QMS is audited annually ensuring compliance.
  • To ensure self-inspections are performed at appropriate regular intervals following a prearranged programme and any necessary corrective measures are put in place.
  • To audit and assess business partners for compliance.
  • To perform the qualification and approval of business partners and customers
  • To ensure Regulatory compliance on certain pharmaceutical and healthcare products
  • Continuous Improvement e.g. preventative actions, process, business partner management.
  • If the QA is accompanied by another auditor and / or audit team, the QA must validate that additional auditors are properly trained prior to conducting the audit.

Job Requirements

The QA should;

  • be able to demonstrate a high knowledge and understanding of ISO.
  • have formal audit training.
  • excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical and healthcare supply chain needs.
  • knowledge of regulatory compliance in regards to pharmaceutical and healthcare storage, handling and transport.
  • Good presentation skills
  • Understanding of Policy and objectives
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English

Skills and Training

  • 2 Years of auditing experience.
  • Formal training and certification for auditing.
  • Knowledge of WHO GDP, GMP
