This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our dedicated team in Helensburgh.
Title: Healthcare Assistant Planned Services
Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale, aligned with AFC BAND 2 £21,814 - £23,820 pro rata per annum + Enhancement depending on candidate experience.
Hours/Contract: Part time 16.57 hours per week. Contact hours can be discussed

An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join our teams in Oban. You will deliver care and support to people with terminal illnesses whilst also offering vital emotional support for their families.
With experience of End of Life care, you're ready and able to make a real difference. Ours is a one-to-one approach to care, so you're sure to enjoy plenty of meaningful contact with patients and their families - usually in their own homes. Working without close supervision, you'll have the opportunity to use your own initiative in line with the patient's established care plan. You'll be required to carry out a range of care duties including helping patients meet their hygiene needs, monitoring symptoms, assisting with medications and keeping detailed records and emotional support to the patient and their families.
What we are looking for:
- Relevant community experience
- S/NVQ Level 2/3 qualification or an equivalent certificate/diploma is desirable
- Emotional strength and the ability to work on your own are crucial, though we will of course provide excellent on-going training and support
- UK driving licence & access to a vehicle are essential

88% x your basic salary per hour paid for Sundays and Public Bank Holidays
44% x your basic salary per hour paid for Saturdays & night duty (8pm to 6am)
