Job description
As a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll be making a difference in the community as we provide vital community NHS health and care services helping people to manage their own health and stay living independently for longer.
You will be based at St Martin's or Paulton where we provide general medical and stroke rehabilitation for those stepping down form the acute trusts; as well as supporting our primary care colleagues with admission avoidance; stepping up from the community.
This role offers you the first steps of a career in health and care – with possible progression opportunities into adult nursing, mental health, children and young people or allied health profession therapy.
Main ResponsibilitiesYour days will be rewarding and varied; working across both inpatient areas you will be part of a team who are passionate about the rehabilitation of their patients and always strive to ensure they regain as much independence as possible.
Your primary purpose is to carry out routine care and health tasks which will be set out in agreed care plans, or work plans or as directed by registered colleagues. You will also, when trained, contribute to care plans, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
