Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Day Shifts

Days: Monday to Sunday (covering up to 5 days per week) – Part-time hours available

Hours: 40 hours per week (including travel time). Approx. 10+ hour shift.

Locations include: Covering Stoke & Staffordshire

Salary: £22,000 + Overtime + 0.45p per mile (after probation increases to £22,500)

VALID LICENCE AND OWN CAR REQUIRED

The Role

If so this role is for you!

HealthHarmonie is a community provider of outpatient services including Dermatology, Gynaecology and Minor Surgery. We are looking to recruit an additional 5 Healthcare assistants to join our growing Stoke on Trent Team based at Basford Consulting Rooms, to assist in the provision of outpatient community services. The key element of the role is to greet and chaperone patients during their appointments and provide administrative assistance to our group of medical professionals. There is no personal care involved in this role.

While your base location will be Basford Consulting Rooms you will be expected to travel to other Staffordshire locations to provide community clinics. Routinely staff only travel to one site per day away from their base.

Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Assistant you will:

• Set up clinic environment with required medical equipment
• Complete GDPR security check with patients
• Administrative support to medical professionals with patient paperwork (IT & Paper-based)
• Support clinical staff in the delivery of patient appointment
• Specimen delivery to a designated location
• Compliance with infection control procedures

** Please note that as we run a 7-day service you will be required to work 5 out of 7 days. Shift patterns are generally between 07:00/ 07:30 - 17:30/18:00. Some of locations will include Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire regions.
