Job description
The Nursing Assistant (NA) works as part of the ward/department team under the supervision of registered nurses and midwives and:
- Participates in the delivery of patient care
- Contributes toward ward/department organisation
- Supports registered nurses in the provision of a safe and caring environment
The Band 3 NA will adhere to the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers and Adult Social Care Workers in England (2013), and Compassion in Practice.
The Band 3 role is pivotal to the holistic care of the patient undergoing rehabilitation and will provide care that meets the rehabilitation needs of all patients.
