We are a small, forward thinking private cardiovascular clinic, situated in modern premises within The Surrey Research Park, Guildford – just off the A3.

We run specialist consultant -led outpatient clinics and carry out diagnostic tests on-site.

The clinic has been operating since 2006 and it is looking for a smart and dynamic Cardiology Nurse or HCA to help developing our care and move the clinic forward.

With strong leadership the day to day experience for our teams is a great one, staff are valued, excellent quality care is provided and the passion for continuous improvement is high.

We are looking for someone who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the best possible care and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the clinic continues to be the first choice for patients.

The successful applicant will be expected to be flexible in their ways of working in order to meet the clinic needs. The working days for this role are mainly Tuesday and Thursdays with a possibility of extra hours when extra clinics are run therefore flexibility is essential.

Key duties, skills and characteristics:

• Ensure that at all times, you provide high standards of care to patients with a range of cardiac conditions.
• Undertaking any necessary pre and post consultation test which are done on site.
• You will work in partnership with all departments in clinic, including office staff and reception
• Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and have the ability to motivate others within our highly performing teams.
• Good interpersonal skills;
• Empathy and sensitivity to patients needs and concerns
• Willingness to be flexible
• Attention to detail
• The ideal nurse must be reliable, self-motivated and able to work as a member of a team to provide high level patient care in a variety of clinical

Applicant requirements:

• You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
• This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service
• Ability to take blood tests is essential
• Willing to learn how perform a 12 lead ECG
