We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our four wards in our award winning hospital. Our hospital won Nation Positive Practice Award in October 2018 Team of the year.
Our hospital has Amber Ward Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit which has 12 beds, Opal Ward our older adults acute ward which has 20 beds, and Coral and Jade which are both working age acute wards with 19 beds each. All four wards are mixed-sex wards and are supported by a Multi-disciplinary team consisting of Healthcare Assistants, Nurses, Doctors, Occupational therapists, Psychologist and many other professionals.
We are looking for confident people with a genuine interest in Mental Health who are motivated, dynamic and forward thinking to work at Langley Green Hospital as Healthcare Assistants. Applicants need to be committed to maintaining and improving service user centred care to the highest standards. You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team with an ability to demonstrate good communication skills and team working abilities. In return you will benefit from working in a therapeutic environment conducive to the treatment and recovery of people with acute functional mental health problems. All your skills and life experience will be fully utilised and developed through clinical supervision and training opportunities.

We currently work a Long Day shift pattern on the wards, this includes weekends and night shifts.
Your main responsibilities will be working on the wards and maintaining patient safety through observations whilst delivering therapeutic engagement and support to service leaders.
