Job description
The Priory Hospital Glasgow is Scotland's leading independent Acute Psychiatric Hospital. We have a range of services including General Adult Psychiatry, Addictions and Eating Disorders.
The successful candidate will support and assist our multi-disciplinary teams in the assessment, planning and implementation of individual care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed to facilitate the well-being, dignity and treatment of all patients. The role will be based either within the Eating Disorders Ward or General/Addictions Ward with flexibility to work across wards as required.
The successful candidate will be able to work within a team or on their own initiative; will be hard working and reliable and will demonstrate enthusiasm and an ability to adapt to challenging situations. In addition, the successful applicant will have effective communication skills, be caring in nature and possess a willingness to learn.
Hours of work will be averaged at 37.5 hrs per week:
Week 1: 4 Shifts
Week 2: 3 Shifts
Week 3: 3 Shifts
Week 4: 3 Shifts
Shifts will be rotational across days and nights.
