We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated HCAs to join our team.
The Gynaecology speciality is unique to other specialities as it encompasses emergency care, surgical care, medical care and oncology care. NUH gynaecology provides a tertiary service for a number of subspecialties and there is also a large community gynaecology service. In addition gynaecology supports maternity services by caring for pregnancy complications under 20 weeks and labour ward emergencies such as life-threatening haemorrhage.
Loxley ward will be a 16 bedded female only ward specifically for surgical elective Gynaecology and Gynae-oncology patients.
As a HCA you will support in delivering high quality, evidence – based care. You will support clinical governance, and help facilitate the modernisation of patient services. You will help ensure that standards and the quality of care including the environment in which they are delivered, are maintained and improved.
In collaboration with all members of the multi-professional team, you will help ensure that the patient has a satisfactory experience. This role will cover days, weekends and nights.
