This role involves providing nursing care for a wide variety of patients on Radipole Ward, we care for a range of needs including end-of-life care; rehabilitation and frailty.

We work very closely with our doctors and community teams.

We have a mixture of day and night shifts and staff will be given opportunities and support to develop their skills clinically and professionally. Come and join our amazing team.

Employment in this post requires a Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.

The role of the Healthcare Assistant involves dealing with personal care for patients and assisting in their daily activities. The therapy team are also active within the ward to enable proactive rehabilitation of patients.

You will:
Assist registered nursing staff in providing high-quality individualised nursing care to a clearly defined group of patients, relatives, and carers.

Assist registered nurses with end of life care in line with the gold standard framework

Assist the multidisciplinary team to aid patients in gaining independence and mobility in preparation for a safe discharge.

Participate in providing a range of therapeutic activities for patients
