An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our dedicated team on the Haematology and Oncology Day unit at Blackpool Teaching Hospital. The successful candidate will be supported by our nursing and medical team and full training will be provided. The successful candidate will be expected to work Monday to Friday from 08.00 until 18.00, depending of shift pattern necessary for the week , no weekends or bank holidays . Main duties include: Maintaining patient safety and dignity at all times Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment Recording base line observations Being the patient advocate and escalating any concerns to the appropriate teams Working closely with all members of the team Supporting team with medical procedures Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ideally situated just a forty five minute drive from Manchester.
