Would you like to progress your career by working with children who require complex clinical care?
We are looking to recruit Healthcare Assistants who have a genuine interest in working with children and young people, to support our young service users who have complex care needs.
Our service user is a young boy who lives with his family in Rushden.
We are recruiting a new care team to support him throughout the day and night, 7 days a week.
There are full time & part time vacancies available.
During your shift you will support with his night-time and morning routine ensuring all his personal care needs as well as his clinical interventions performed these may include but not limited to, Oxygen administration, Oral Suctioning and Tracheostomy care.
He enjoys music, singing and dancing and his family put on mini discos for him and his twin sister. He has a genuine interest in everything and loves to understand how things work. He really loves reading the book The Gruffalo and anything Disney related.
We offer full comprehensive training allowing you to enhance your experience of working in care and / or with children by working in a more clinical role.
You will have a genuine interest in working children and young people and be able to support with his social needs as well as clinical.
Experience with play and development and supporting with routines in relation to ADHD and ASD will be advantageous.
Essential Experience Required
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration

We have the following shifts available;
- Part Time
- Waking Nights
- 9pm – 7am / 10pm – 8am

Weeknights : £13.50 per hour(£135 approx. per shift)
Saturday : £13.50 per hour(£135 approx. per shift)
Sunday : £13.50 per hour (£135 approx. per shift)
Bank Holiday : £14.00 per hour(£140 approx. per shift)
