Job description
Are you passionate about enhancing a child’s or young person’s everyday life?
Would you like to progress your career by working with children who require complex clinical care?
We are recruiting a new team in Rochdale and are looking for experienced Healthcare Assistants to support our young service user with her complex healthcare needs.
If you have a genuine interest in working with children and young people, this could be the perfect role for you!
Our service user is a young girl who requires 1:1 support throughout the day and night.
She lives at home with mum and requires a fun and outgoing care team, with a great sense of humour! – It would be great if you are comfortable around animals as they share their home with their beloved family pets.
Day support commences after school and we are looking for engaging individuals who are happy to assist her to enjoy her hobbies and interests, as play time and fun are an important part of her day. She likes role play, imaginative play, exploring playdough and watching movies with mum.
Her bedtime is around 8.30pm and she often has a settled night. Upon arrival, you will observe her closely, carry out regular repositioning, provide comfort and reassurance and tend to her clinical interventions as required.
This is more than just a job, this is a great opportunity to make a real difference to the life of our service user and her family, whilst also building on your clinical skills and experience.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
