Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a gentleman with complex care needs.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one-to-one support, and can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
Our service user is in his mid-40's, lives with his loving family in Birmingham and requires care throughout the day and night on a 2:1 basis.
He likes watching action films, listening to music, and enjoys accessing the community, such as going shopping, visiting the local parks, and going to the sea life centre. He also likes to follow football, especially Aston villa who he supports.
He is dependent on his care team to support him with his personal care, mobility, transfers, and repositioning, as he is unable to weight bear independently.
Day shifts will consist of supporting all his complex and clinical care needs, supporting with social interaction, and accessing the community to promote his hobbies and interests.
During the night, he often sleeps well but can sometimes wake due to discomfort. You will need to support him with regular repositioning, personal care, and any clinical interventions needed such as PEG feeding.
He uses various sounds to indicate his wants, needs, and feelings to his care team. It is important that you can interpret his method of communication to avoid him becoming distressed or frustrated.

Weekdays £11.50 (approx. £138 Per 12-hour shift)
Weeknights £12 (approx.. £144 per 12-hour shift)
- Weekends £13 ( approx. £156 per 12-hour shift)
We have the following shifts available;
- Full Time and Part time
- Days and Nights available
- 7:30am – 7:30pm
- 7:30pm- 7:30am
