About the team
Our Business Services team is a collective of creative, strategic, forward-thinking business enablers. Together the People & Culture, Marketing & Communications, IT, Operations, Finance and Quality & Risk Management teams make it their mission to ensure Mazars has the right tools, technology, strategies, and services in place to deliver exceptional client service and future-proof our growing business.
Sitting within our wider Operations team is our Property and Facilities team. They lead on all building and facilities management, premises security, property and equipment maintenance, post, archiving, health and safety, office moves and refurbishments.
About the role
- In this newly created position, you'll be responsible for putting in place processes and systems that identify and manage risks relating to the health and safety of our team
- Responsible for ensuring the firm is compliant with H&S legislation – reviewing, updating and owning the firm's H&S Handbook
- Establish a risk framework and developing and embedding governance, risk assessments, policies, processes, protocols, service level agreement and KPIs in relation to building and facilities management
- Work closely with the Head of Properties & Facilities to ensure local teams are fully supported in all areas of health and safety and report regularly to senior management committees
- Along with the Inclusion, Diversity & Wellbeing team, you'll ensure that property & facilities supports our inclusion agenda
What are we looking for?
- A dedicated health and safety professional, certified in a recognised body covering occupational safety and health, IOSH or NEBOSH
- Management experience within the building and maintenance industry
- Experience of statutory compliance and workplace regulations
- Experience in risk assessment, management of contractor activities and safety management systems
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety at work issues in an office-based environment
