Culina Group - We are a market leading ambient and chilled food & drink 3PL specialist, providing warehouse and distribution alongside fresh, food manufacturing, co-packing and bonded divisions. Working in partnership with some of the biggest household names in the food and drink sector.
This is apart of a group function which provides support to all the Culina Group subsidiary companies. This role is based in the Midlands, but some companywide travel may be required on occasion to attend meetings and sites where required.
The purpose of a Health, Safety and Sustainability Administrator is to support the Head of H&S in providing a comprehensive and robust SHEQ service across the Group and all its subsidiaries.To work with the business unit SHEQ Heads in support of delivering the highest SHEQ standard.
Key Duties of a Health, Safety and Sustainability Administrator:
- Providing administrative and analytical support across the Culina Group SHEQ function.
- Collection, collation, maintenance and input of statistical information.
- Compile and maintain reports and correspondence, including Board level reports.
- Create and distribute communications and presentations as appropriate.
- Produce and distribute minutes, notes, and manage the document control process where appropriate.
- Contribute to review / writing of Policy / Procedure.
- Support the Business units with the implementation of Culina Group process and initiatives.
- Understanding and maintaining all aspects of the Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management System (Including systems like Evotix/Assure).
- Support with the delivery of Culina Group’s sustainability strategy to include the collection, analysis and presentation of environmental, energy and carbon emissions related data where appropriate.
- Support the Culina Group and its subsidiaries with standards and audits relating to Quality and food standards including BRC, where appropriate.
- Assist the business units with implementation of the ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO 14001 and ISO50001 standards where appropriate.
- Assist with the compilation and submission of documentation in support of awards where appropriate (eg ROSPA).
- Booking of training courses for business units where appropriate.
- Ensuring all business units have centrally sourced and maintained safety related resources, for example defibs, D&A test kits and eye care vouchers.
- Coordinate and manage the administration of claims and the claims process in collaboration with respective department Heads.
- Support Heads of SHEQ of subsidiary units as required/appropriate
- Computer Literate in Microsoft packages, in particular Excel.
- Experience in an administrative role essential, preferably within a Group Function.
- Experience in SHEQ administrative/co-ordinator role desirable.
- Knowledge of the logistics sector and relevant operational practices desirable.
- Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines.
- Be proactive and able to make decisions
- Recognise and promote the importance of continuous improvement and display a positive attitude to change
- Strong, concise and effective communicator at all levels
- Critical thinker with strong analytic skills, in particular relating to data and statistics.
- Problem solving capabilities, with the ability to find realistic and workable solutions and see them through to resolution.
