As Marketing Assistant, you will play an integral supporting role in the planning and delivery of our ATL campaigns and partnership marketing activity, whilst also providing support across the wider marketing team enabling you to gain experience in all aspects of marketing.
About the role
You’ll work as part of the Boots Opticians Marketing team - an exciting, award-winning team that likes to have fun and get things done. At the heart of Boots Opticians growth plans, we help our customers to See What’s Possible, working with exciting fashion brands and educating customers on the importance of looking after their eye health.
- Work cross functionally with our Trading Team, wider Marketing Team, agencies and suppliers to co-ordinate the delivery of our agreed partnership marketing plans to agreed timescales to ensure maximum return on investment for suppliers and benefit to our business
- Co-ordinate the creation of post campaign analysis reports for partnership marketing activity, building a view of learnings and insights for future activity
- Support the Marketing & Planning Manager and Paid Media Specialist in the briefing, creative development, set up, sign off and delivery of ATL campaigns and activity
- Work closely with our PR team and store teams on the delivery of our influencer gifting plan
- Responsible for providing the marketing team and wider business with weekly competitor activity reporting & insights
- Weekly marketing reporting
- Raising & receipting of POs
- Responding to store helpdesk queries in relation to marketing
About you:
- Previous experience in a marketing role, or marketing degree, with a passion for marketing and a willingness to learn
- Ability to build strong relationships with others and work cross-functionally
- Enjoy working at pace, adjusting to the needs of the business, to meet deadlines
- Motivated, with a ‘can do’ attitude and customer first mind set
- Good attention to detail and a high concern for order and quality
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
- Proactive attitude
