An interesting and varied role, the Health and Safety and Facilities Manager will take responsibility for the development and implementation of our Company Health and Safety policies, as well as maintenance of the physical infrastructure and security of Scudamore’s estate on and around the beautiful River Cam. You will play a key role in ensuring the Company’s operational and commercial resilience.
A successful and vibrant business, we offer a unique working environment with plenty of scope for creativity. This role would suit someone who has worked successfully as a Health and Safety department / site lead within a large organisation, or in a senior Health and Safety role within a smaller business. The ideal person will be someone who is willing and able to take ownership for all Health and Safety matters, advising and guiding the leadership team on best practice.

What’s on offer?
- Full-time role 40 hours per week
- Salary range £45,000 to £50,000, depending on experience
- Based at our Head Office in central Cambridge and across our Estate on the beautiful River Cam

What would make you the right person for the role?
- You are passionate about Health and Safety
- You enjoy working collaboratively and can engage with people at all levels
- You have experience of facilities / estates management
- You hold a NEBOSH General Certificate for Occupational Health and Safety Management or equivalent qualification
What would also help?
- Experience in the leisure, tourism or boating / water based industry
- Experience in managing / co-ordinating programmes of work / projects
- Knowledge of business continuity planning
- NEBOSH Level 6 National Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety Management Professionals (NDip)
