Being a Clinical Educator in the Marie Curie South East Nursing Services team is incredibly rewarding on so many levels. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely alongside our community staff, tailoring high standard clinical training to meet their needs based on personal development plans, training needs analysis and data from incidents, complaints and patient feedback, supporting our learning culture.
Title: Clinical Educator – South East
Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 6 (Aligned with AFC band 6 £35,392- £42,618 per annum)
Hours/Contract: Permanent Full time – 37.5 hours per week
Based: Marie Curie South East, Hybrid. Home based plus regular travel expected to Caterham and Hampshire office and other South East community nursing services as required

- Significant nursing experience post registration
- Teaching and learning experience in healthcare
- Confident, self-motivated team player with a positive outlook and the ability to think innovatively
- Experience of working with individuals and families experiencing change and loss
- Commitment to professional development
Naturally, you’ll provide a high level of clinical expertise and you’ll be responsible for the development of professional and clinical standards to help our workforce deliver specialist palliative care to the very highest standards. You’ll also be responsible for developing, facilitating and evaluating all aspects of clinical training as well as creating innovative and flexible approaches to the learning culture.
Our nursing team is made up of Senior Nurses, Clinical Nurse Managers, Registered Nurses and HCAs. As our Clinical Educator, your primary role will be to inspire and educate colleagues across the full scope of these services.
