Health Economist Lead
We seek applicants for a Health Economist Lead role. This is an important leadership role within our European Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR) team, part of our integrated Global HEOR practice.

Responsibilities:
Health Economists Lead have immediate responsibility for enhancing ZS offerings, are instrumental members of the project leadership who are in client facing roles and assumes responsibility of quality, effectiveness and efficiency of project execution and delivery. In this role, you will:
- Be an active member of the European and Global HEOR leadership team, contributing to strategy and capability development
- Work closely with ZS client teams to lead client business development and client relationship development across our key client accounts. The focus will be Europe including the UK, but with ample opportunities to work in partnership with our teams globally.
- Support the growth of HE modeling service line, increase awareness of ZS capabilities in HE modeling, and inform our clients’ perception of the ZS value proposition in HE modeling
- Be seen as a go-to person across the team for methodological advice and quality assurance
- Consistently deliver quality client services and drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget
- Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
- Play an active role in coaching and mentoring junior team members within Global HEOR team.
- Work on and lead multi-disciplinary projects, e.g. involving RWE, AI/ML and Market Access
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., STEM)
- MSc in Health Economics or similar preferred
- Masters plus 8 years or Doctorate plus 6 years of directly relevant experience in a similar industry / consulting environment
- Demonstrated experience with Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) with a particular emphasis on health economic modeling, including extensive practical experience in leading implementation of cost-effectiveness and budget impact analyses for global headquarters and/or key markets
- Ability to lead and manage teams to execute global projects
- Strong understanding of and experience with statistical methods underlying health economic models
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Expertise in communicating HE findings in various forms of communication, (e.g., peer-reviewed publication, abstracts and conference presentations, global value dossiers)
