Health Club Receptionist

The Laguna Health & Spa is situated in the heart of Cardiff. It offers a wide range of facilities including a state-of-the-art gym with an expanding membership. In addition we have a 20 metre swimming pool, spa bath, steam room and a luxurious spa offering Pevonia treatments.

In this role you will be responsible for providing a professional front desk image that is both prompt and to a 4* deluxe standard of service to all our club members, guests and visitors.

Duties Include:

  • Working between 32 hours per week, as per departmental rota earliest start time 7am am and latest finish time 9 pm.
  • Greeting members and guests on arrival and providing assistance as necessary
  • Answering the telephone and directing enquiries
  • Handling any problems or complaints efficiently and in a professional manner
  • Preparing members/guests bills and taking payment
  • Dealing with spa booking / PT enquiries.
  • Attending to special request – e.g. spa lunch requirements etc.

  • Remaining calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong IT skills, with experience of booking software such as Premier Spa
  • Experience of adhering to hotel & company procedures
