An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a part of the nursing team at the West of Scotland Mobility and Rehabilitation Centre (WestMARC), which is situated on the QEUH campus. WestMARC delivers the Wheelchair and Prosthetic services for the West of Scotland. This is an outpatient service. The post holder will work within our MDT, alongside our Registered nurse and will also have some overlap with our other HCSW. Duties include supporting the delivery of wound care for prosthetic patients, with the clinical supervision and support of our registered nurse, assisting at prosthetic clinics, working with wheelchair patients that require hoisting, assisting patients with personal hygiene as required and placing orders to ensure stock levels are maintained to allow seamless running of the service.
