An opportunity has arisen for a permanent full time Health Care Support worker position within the Paediatric Outpatient Department of Hywel Dda University Health Board.
This is a permanent post however part-time hours will be considered.
The post involves day to day running of the Paediatric Outpatient department at Glangwili General Hospital in Carmarthen, Clinics held at Elizabeth Williams Centre in Llanelli and Child Health department Withybush General Hospital in Haverfordwest.
All Health Care Support Workers are under the supervision of the Registered Nurse or Clinic Nurse.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Health Care Support Worker to join our Paediatric Outpatient department for 37.5 hrs per week.
We are looking for someone who will work flexibly within our Paediatric outpatient departments and can work under pressure. The person we appoint needs to be motivated and enjoys working as part of a team. Paediatric experience as well as the knowledge and skills of working in the NHS and IT system is desirable. As a candidate, you should be able to demonstrate a commitment to professional development and continual learning.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Hywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and its bordering counties. - Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales.
