Job description
This is a part-time post for 15 hours offered on a fixed contract for 12 months.
The shift pattern for this position is Monday – Friday 0900-1700 : 7.5hr shifts.
The successful candidate will have good communication skills and be able to work well within a team in a fast paced work environment. Good and accurate documentation is a requirement of the job, as is excellent timekeeping and attendance.
Under the direction of a Senior Charge Nurse / Midwife or Midwife / Nurse the HCSW will provide a high quality, safe and supportive environment in order to care for patients within the Women & Children’s Directorate.
The post holder is required to work within a multidisciplinary team to provide the delivery of highest level of care whilst adhering to Health Board Policies, Departmental Policies, Heath & Safety, Data Protection and Confidentiality Policies.
