Aaban Partnership Ltd is a new and exciting service offering high-quality specialist mental health services for young people with complex needs. Aaban Partnership Ltd has two CQC regulated bespoke built 10 bedded units offering Assessment, Stabilisation, treatment, and intervention for young people aged 8 -18 years.
Providence Unit (Assessment and Stabilisation Unit) and Moira Unit (Treatment and Intervention Unit) are both open and operational and we require passionate, committed, hard-working healthcare support workers to work as part of our team.

Our robust, experienced and diverse multi-disciplinary team will offer guidance and supervision on a regular basis. We will offer and support regular training and opportunity to develop and grow within the role.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Engaging young people and developing therapeutic relationships
· Supporting young people through therapeutic interventions/programs
· Escorting and supporting young people in the community
· Sharing feedback about young person’s presentation
· Completing records and notes in accordance with policy
· Safeguarding young people
· Risk assessment and risk management
· Organising with the young person a weekly planner
· Providing stimulating activity
· Life skills development
· Physical health monitoring (Training will be provided)
· Empowering young people to be the best they can be
· General housekeeping
· Working with young person to prepare meals
· Verbal de-escalation
· Use of DBT language – Training will be provided.
· Working with families and carers
· Adhere to data protection act and policies
· Attend and participate in handovers
· Monitoring young people’s health and well-being and reporting back to senior staff
· Uphold and adhere to all local and company policy and procedures
· Information governance
· Work with the wider/local community in a positive manner
· To keep up to date with appropriate training in line with PDP including online modules.

All staff members employed by Aaban Partnership Ltd are expected to be familiar with and aware of their responsibilities in relation to local ‘children’s safeguarding board’, ‘local adult safeguarding board’ and procedures for ‘safeguarding and protecting children and vulnerable adults’.

Completing enhanced observations
