An exciting opportunity has arisen within North East Mental Health In-patients (Stobhill) to work within our Older People Mental Health Wards. Whilst you will provide a service to the site you will be based within Jura Ward, Older People Mental Health (OPMH).
The Jura Ward in Stobhill Mental Health Campus provides specialist care and treatment to older adult patients who are experiencing an organic mental health illness. This allows for the opportunity to enhance your skills and knowledge in this area and access specific training to provide a specialist service. You should have an interest in working with patients with Mental Health conditions. The hours of this post are worked on a continental or 4/7 shift pattern including weekends and night duty. The post-holder will support the Registered Nursing Staff to contribute to safe and effective patient care and will be required to work across the mental health inpatient service (i.e. hospital site).
- People requiring acute mental health care (i.e. older adults & adult)
- People requiring specialist mental health care (e.g. specialist dementia care/ intensive mental health care/ rehabilitation etc.)
- People requiring continued period of assessment, care and treatment for complex mental health care needs.
