Imaging – Institute for Neurological Sciences Band 3 – Healthcare Support Worker (Fixed Term – 1 Year) Weekly hours – 22.5 hours This is an excellent opportunity for you to join our team in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. We are recruiting within the Institute for Neurological Sciences seeking a Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker. The successful candidate will work in our busy MRI department assisting radiographers and will be responsible for providing direct patient care, maintaining associated equipment; undertaking administrative duties and any other duties as allocated by the Superintendent Radiographer in order to ensure a high quality of service to the patients. An understanding of confidentiality and the ability to follow policies and procedures is essential and it will be mandatory that you complete the NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde Health Care Support Worker Induction and in-house training to gain competencies relevant to the post. This post also requires PVG Scheme Membership/Disclosure Scotland Check. Previous experience of working within healthcare settings is desirable but not essential for this role.
