Job description
SRTC Operating Theatres offer an exciting opportunity for an organised and methodical HealthCare Support Worker.
This post will sit within the overall Theatres HCSW team and will contribute to all duties of the role where required, but will carry individual responsibility for supporting theatres stores and equipment.
Applicants should note that, as well as coordinating and organisation skills, this role will require physical effort, including regular moving and handing of surgical equipment and stores.
Previous experience would be advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team are essential qualities for this post.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
