We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Assistant to join our Business Development and Fundraising team as we develop new fundraising, income diversification and business development initiatives that will be fundamental to achieving our mission.
You will play a crucial role in supporting colleagues on our journey to grow and diversify our income streams to support our overall charitable aims and objectives, working with colleagues to research new markets and potential funding opportunities, creating social media assets and content to promote business development and fundraising initiatives, and producing reports on activity and performance. You’ll also provide effective administrative support for the team, including coordinating meetings, handling inbound queries and keeping our customer relationship management system up to date.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and external partners, demonstrating excellent customer care and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisation skills, including the ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and prioritise workload effectively
- Excellent IT skills, ideally with experience of social media, design tools (e.g. Canva) and databases
