The Senior Medical Information Officer is at the fore front of Ipsen’s interaction with patients and healthcare professionals. The primary purpose of the role is to provide scientific leadership through the provision of a high performing comprehensive, accurate and timely scientific service for Ipsen's external and internal stakeholders the UK and Ireland
As the Senior Medical Information Officer, you will:
- Respond to escalate, unsolicited requests for information regarding Ipsen products and their clinical uses. Requests for information may come from both external as well as internal customers.
- Be responsible for insights gathering and dissemination collaboration with their respective Medical Managers and MSLs
- Identify data generation needs and the need for creation of specific local Standard Response Documents (SRDs)and Frequently Asked Questions(FAQs) for their aligned products.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant scientific information for their aligned therapy area(s)
- Be responsible for the retrieval and dissemination of scientific information regarding Ipsen’s and or competitive products in line with business strategies.
- Interact with key stakeholders both office-and field-based medical and commercial roles
- Work in coordination with the rest of the Medical team to meet the Medical Department’s objectives.
