Health Care Assistant - Rheumatology Day Unit Orsett, England
Job description
Our Rheumatology Day Unit team are looking for a Health Care Assistant to join our small team based at Orsett Hospital, looking after Rheumatology and other specialities patients by providing infusions, injections and occasional small procedures.
We are open day shifts only, opening hours are 8am-4pm with no night work or unsocial hours required.
Please note that this post is advertised full time but part time applicants are welcome.
Your duties will include, undertaking patient observations. ensuring chairs and equipment are cleaned between patients, ordering and ensuring stock levels are maintained, offering and preparing patient refreshments tea/coffee ect. and ordering lunches from catering.
You will also answering the phone and dealing with patient queries, some administrative work, including ensuring checklists are available and patient demographics are completed prior to treatments, setting up trolleys for procedures and helping to provide a friendly, welcoming environment for our patients to come for treatments.
