Trewidden Care home is a residential home specialising in dementia care. Situated in a beautiful location in the South West of Cornwall. Trewidden Care Home is first and foremost a home for all of our residents. Our belief is that people with dementia need to feel safe, secure and comfortable whilst also feeling the people surrounding them understand their needs and communication methods.

Job Purpose

  • The role of the Health Care Assistant is helping our residents to live full, happy and healthy lives, by delivering person centred care, meaningful activities, support and companionship; helping residents’ to enjoy each day by making sure they receive the quality care, support and opportunities for fulfilment that they deserve.

Requirements

  • 18 years +
  • Kind, caring and compassionate in nature
  • Enthusiastic and committed to making a positive contribution to the people who we care for.
  • Highly motivated and driven to achieve high standards
  • Experience in health and social care is preferable not but essential
  • Care Certificate or NVQ level 2 or above in Health and social Care

Shift Times

  • 19:00-07:00
  • 20:00-08:00

Pay Scale

  • £13.50 per hour
  • £27.00 per hour
