Health Care Assistant Needed In Austin Avenue, PLYMOUTH Plymouth, England
Job description
Our hospital is currently seeking a Healthcare Assistant to work closely with the senior nursing team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and experience working in a medical environment. The successful candidate will also possess basic medical knowledge, including knowledge of anatomy and physiology, as well as be able to prepare patients for surgery.
Responsibilities:
- Record patient information.
- Document patient's current and changing condition.
- Communicate with the patient's family and other healthcare professionals.
- Assist with basic activities of daily living; bathe, groom, dress patients.
- Accompany patients to treatments and appointments.
- Observe and report changes in patient's condition to healthcare team members.
- Evaluate patient's mental and physical condition.
- Prepare equipment for treatments.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 60 per week
Salary: £10.00-£14.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Austin Avenue, PLYMOUTH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
*minimum 6 months of experience in health care is preferred*
