Job description
This is a challenging, fast-paced position where making strong personal connections with patients is an asset. It requires a high level of professionalism and compassion for the position, and includes a great deal of responsibility. We are searching for candidates who are interested in helping others, have personal experience in caring for children and elderly or disabled people as well as personal experience in assisting individuals who speak English as a second language.
Responsibilities:
- Convince patients to get checked.
- Prepare patients for their visit.
- Answer questions about healthcare services.
- Provide information and advice to patients.
- Communicate ideas and information clearly to patients, colleagues and others.
- Demonstrate understanding of medical terms and procedures.
- Clean bedpans, bed sheets and bathrooms.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: £10.00-£12.00 per hour
