We are currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers to help with the ever increasing demand from our Clients.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for promoting a caring environment which provides residents and service users with a high standard of specialised personal care, meeting individual needs and ensuring everyone is treated with respect and dignity and that their rights to privacy, independence and choice are met.

Your duties include but not limited to:

  • Assist clients with general hygiene needs such as washing and cleaning teeth/dentures
  • Serving meals and ensuring the client has the required level of daily meals/nutrients
  • Ensuring clients receive their medication on time
  • Assisting with using the toilet or emptying urinary catheter bags/changing incontinence pads
  • To be sensitive to the privacy and individual needs of the clients
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is completed daily
  • Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
  • Adhering to professional standards
  • Carry out other ad hoc duties as requested by the Home Manager

Requirements and skills:

  • Committed to health & safety

  • A can-do attitude, caring and reliable nature
  • Excellent communication
  • Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Sensitivity and understanding, with the ability to respect each resident's dignity and sense of independence
  • Must have at least 6 months UK care experience
