About the Team
TikTok LIVE team's mission is to work hand-in-hand with creators & influencers, agencies, and partner organizations to create an environment that brings communities together in real time to create meaningful and interactive connections around the globe.
This is a challenging and exciting role for anyone who is passionate about introducing innovative products to billions of TikTok users leveraging their communication and creative talents and skills. This role will wear multiple hats, from UX writing for core LIVE products to go-to-market materials copywriting, to ensure effective communication of the product to its target audiences.
Responsibilities includes:
- develops compelling, engaging, and on-brand creative messaging based on the core value proposition of the product and target audiences.
- creates copy for core LIVE in-app products that interpret the value proposition of the product and also help users navigate the product.
- drives creative copy writing for core LIVE in-app products and corresponding go-to-market materials, including but not limited to, product video scripts, creator education materials, push notifications, EDM etc.
- localizes global campaign gameplay and mechanism into engaging copies that are relevant to the global audience
- Proven track record of effectively developing creative copy concepts based on strategic positioning of a business, brand or product and driving full suites of copywriting assets.
- Portfolio of creative copywriting required upon submission for the role.
- 2+ years of copy-writing experience in a high growth and fast paced environment, consumer tech startup preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline
- Curious, self-motivated, bias-for-action (“no task is too small” mentality)
- Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides
- Experience with content management systems
- Keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design
