We're looking for a kind, experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistant who is dedicated to providing patients with the best possible care. The right candidate will meet with and accompahsh patients, take temperatures, give injections and perform other tasks as directed by a doctor or nurse. The ideal candidate will be interested in working at a small medical centre where there are plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and make lasting relationships with patients and co-workers.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all areas are clean and tidy.
- Assist in organising medical supplies.
- Communicate with medical professionals in a medical setting.
- Provide administrative support to medical professionals in a medical setting.
- Perform basic clerical work in a medical setting.
- Take and record vital signs, such as patient temperature and pulse.
- Monitor information given by the doctor or other healthcare professional to the patient or family regarding their condition, medications, diet and activity level.
Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
