The successful candidate will have experience on Google Cloud Platform and Big Query to help us build and manage our data platform, with an initial focus on building a Big Query GA4 management service and then building out wider data management in areas such as SERP data.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for data engineering and analytics, and a proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and data management systems. You will be joining a growing team with leadership and growth potential for the right candidate.

  • Work closely with the Head of Data and Marketing Team to understand their data needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • To help build and help to integrate machine learning models into our data platform
  • Continuously monitor and optimise data pipelines and data management systems to ensure high performance and scalability.
  • Ensure data quality, data integrity, and data security across all systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and analytics, and evaluate new tools and technologies for potential use in our data platform.

The Person:

  • Advanced understanding of the GA4 data schema in Big Query.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (desirable).

  • Strong understanding of data modelling, data architecture, and data governance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Be able to design and develop data pipelines, write SQL queries, and optimise data processing workflows.

We’re not in for the hard-sell, we’re after someone who will provide solutions to businesses and individuals in a consultative manner, always looking for the best fit.

The Team:

The Data Team is a hard-working and enthusiastic mix of people, all eager to bring the best solutions to new and existing clients, other Giants as well as our partners in other agencies. You’ll be supported by the Head of Data, and be welcomed into a team-focused department, reliant on high levels of drive, problem solving and attention to detail. It is all about empowering people to make informed decisions and test hypotheses using available data to make better decisions.
