The positions we are recruiting for are based in South West of England. We are looking for skilled, caring and confident Health Care Assistants to join a team providing care for elderly patients with a variety of illnesses, including dementia and Alzheimer's and the Support workers to work with people with a learning disability and autistic people to promote independence and wellbeing, and they sometimes provide direct physical help when called for. The right candidate will interact directly with patients, monitoring their vital signs, providing comfort and transportation, and assisting with daily living needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with daily living activities such as eating, showering and using the toilet
- Utilising equipment to move patients when necessary
- Helping tidy the patient’s home or room
- Provide personal care for residents on the floor and/or a 1-2-1 basis
- Taking the patient’s vital signs such as blood pressure and temperature
- Talking to patients and reassuring them
- Attending meetings with other healthcare professionals
- Assisting nurses and other staff when needed
- Adhering to professional standards
- Delivering reports to Case Managers and reviewing any important changes in the patient’s condition

Salary: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
