Communication
Provide service users with the highest standard of basic care and support, in accordance with the S&K Care Ltd philosophy and policies and procedures on individualised care plan.
· To ensure all necessary precautions are taken, in relation to Health and safety of Service Users and others. This should be followed in accordance with statutory and local policies.
· To work within a person centred framework and ensuring that care plans reflect the needs of individuals and promote their independence.
· Create a trusting relationship between staff, service users and relatives and ensure that the service user dignity and respect is preserved at all times.
· Establish and maintain effective communication with service users, their relatives and advocates.
· Establish and maintain effective communication with professional members
· Uphold and implement the Company‘s aims, objectives and philosophy.
· Assist the Team leaders in the development and implementation of care programmes, their reviews and ensuring that the needs of the Service Users are met.
Standards and Compliance
· Ensure confidentiality regarding the service users at all times.
· Adhere with the Company policies and procedures and work as trained.
· Accurate record keeping, including rotas and mileage claims and sign for actual hours worked and distance travelled. To be submitted on within cut off dates.
· Ensure efficient management of iStaff and accurate recording of timesheets.
Learning
· Attend trainings and any other meetings that might be called by the company.
Budgetary Control
· Carry out other duties as will, from time to time, be directed.
· Carry out all duties in a safe manner having regard for the health, safety and welfare of self, staff, service users and others.
· Undertake appropriate training and development to ensure statutory compliance.
· Participate in appraisal and supervision process within the statutory guidelines
· In accordance with the Health & Social Care, the post holder will actively participate in the prevention of infection control within the capacity of their role.
· Adhere to the code of Conduct for health and Social Care Workers.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 36 months
Part-time hours: 38 per week
Salary: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
