Health Care Assistants – Days or Nights options (South Cave & York)
Pay rates from £11.50-£15.50 per hour. Flexible hours from 12 to 48+ hours per week – you choose the hours that are suitable for you.
Able Carers is branching out to other services and supporting a group of five care homes and we are looking for dedicated healthcare workers to join our agency. We have a care homes in York and South Cave which specialises in dementia care, with immediate days and nights available. You will take pride in providing outstanding care for residents.
We are looking for experienced care professionals and require an immediate start. It is a must to have experience.
You will report to the Senior on duty, that will guide and support you each step of the way.
Your daily tasks as a Healthcare Assistant will include:
- Assisting with personal care and supporting residents to bed
- Provide quality care to all residents
- Working as a team to ensure all residents remain well cared for and safe
If you are reliable, dependable, and naturally caring this is the role for you.
Minimum requirements:
- Ideally 2 years care experience
- You want to make a difference
- Must have care experience
- Must be able to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK
- Driving licence with access to a car
- Good listening and communication skills
- Kind and caring nature with a can-do attitude
