Restful Homes Group – Austen Court Care Home is currently on the lookout for Day Healthcare Assistants at our beautiful home based in Evesham.

Our Care Home provides 69 spacious bedroom suites providing the highest quality of care to older residents of Evesham and the surrounding areas who require Residential, Nursing and Dementia care.

As a Healthcare Assistant you need to be able to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. Looking after the physical, emotional, cultural and social needs of the residents using a person-centred approach. To observe and promote the resident’s choice, independence, dignity and privacy. To create and maintain good professional relationships with residents, relatives and external professionals. To work as part of a team. All shifts are 8am to 8pm

Job Responsibilities -

· Provide support and encouragement resident’s in all areas / activities of daily living

· Ensure the respect, dignity and rights to privacy of resident’s as far as possible

· Contribute to the assessment of resident’s needs and the development of individualised plans

· Work with the care and support team to deliver high standards of care and service

· To prepare food and drink for the resident’s, being aware of the resident’s choice, likes/dislikes

· To use moving and handling equipment safely and correctly

· To maintain good communication and develop effective working relationships with resident’s

· To maintain detailed accurate records in respect of care
