Thames Care @ Home is a service aligned to Thames Hospice Community services, supplying personal care and helping people in the community remain comfortable at home in their last 6 weeks of life. This role will offer daily satisfaction as you play a vital part in helping our patients.
As a Health community Care Assistant you will work early shifts 8:30am-2:30pm and / or late shifts 4pm-10pm. Every other weekends 8:30am-2:30pm and /or 4pm-10pm. You will be travelling to patients homes from the beautiful surroundings of Bray Lake, Maidenhead using one of our four pool cars we have available for the service. We are looking for applicants from all over Berkshire as we grow. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in caring for others, will be compassionate, sensitive, flexible, reliable and professional. You must work as part of a team, confidently delivering an excellent service.

- Saturday shifts are paid at time and one thirds or £14.40 per hour
- Sunday shifts are paid at time and two thirds or £18 per hour
- Shift pay work, you will be paid from the start of your shift until the end, not on the number of patients visits

- Alternate weekends off ensuring work/life balance
- Use of our pool cars to travel to our patients homes (Required to be 25 years of age or over)
