HEALTH CARE ASSISTANT: NJC SCP 7-17 (17,206.92-£21,166.25 - based on school term time only (40 weeks) paid equally over 12 months)

We are looking for a motivated and suitably qualified person to join our nursing team at RSB providing support to children with complex medical health needs from 2 – 19 years within a school and residential setting. Experience of working with children with complex medical needs is essential and relevant qualifications in Health care are desirable. The role will involve feeding and delivering of medication via gastrostomy or equivalent, maintaining good communication and continuity of care for the children and families. Assisting with other clinical duties and provide clinical competencies training to RSB staff.

You will have excellent communication skills and will be keen to promote the health of our children and work closely with our staff and families. You will promote our vision and seek to maintain the reputation of RSB in all aspects of your work.

The role is term time based with an additional week for CPD training in the school holidays.
