ABOUT THE ROLE

As a domiciliary carer, you will be providing both care and companionship on daily short visits. Following a person-centred care plan, will enable you to meet your client’s needs. We will ensure you are matched with clients based on your skills so you can provide tailored support and companionship.

ABOUT YOUR JOB ROLE

  • Managing medical conditions such as dementia, stroke, Parkinson’s, and mental health
  • Personal care, moving and handling with equipment
  • All domestic duties and daily living tasks
  • Liaising with health care professionals and documenting information
  • Supporting the client with accessing the community where required
  • Safe administration of medications and accurate record keeping Commitment to annual mandatory training.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Professional care experience gained in any care setting, such as live-in carer, domiciliary care, care assistant, support worker, healthcare assistant in the NHS or similar
  • A driver’s licence is an advantage but not a requirement. The clients may provide the car and the insurance for you to be able to take your client for the occasional trip out or to go shopping
  • You must be flexible to travel to your client placement (UK travel expenses covered, terms and conditions apply)
