Job description
We now have vacancies for full time bar and waiting staff at the Lansdowne Strand.
The successful applicants will be required to assist in all aspects of serving drinks and food to our customers and for welcoming and assisting guests who are staying the night in one of our 22 bedrooms.
You should have a natural enthusiasm for customer service and enjoy exceeding customer expectations. You will need to be trustworthy, reliable and be naturally at ease making our customers feel welcome and looked after. You will need to be a team player. Our food is all made on-site using fantastic ingredients and the headline products on our bar are our beers, proudly made by local family brewer Arkell's.
Experience is preferred, but the successful candidate will receive full training and so applicants from those without experience are still invited as long as you can display a willingness to learn and a desire to excel in customer service.
The successful applicant will be welcomed into a small, friendly and hard working team who will make you feel at home. Alongside the hourly rate (above National Min. Wage), the recruit will receive an equal share of tips, double pay on bank holidays and training opportunities. Shifts will include daytimes, evenings and weekends- applications from people unable to work these shifts will not be considered.
Due to the nature of the work we can only accept applicants who are at least 18 years old.
