Due to new ways of working, such as the possible need to expand the times and days offered to our patients we are offering a rewarding challenge to four enthusiastic and motivated Band 2 HCA's
We have many specialities that you will have the opportunity to experience These specialties are, Respiratory, Rapid Breast , Endocrinology, Cardiology and ENT. To name but a few.
These specialities will be found in the maim OPD areas in the Birmingham Treatment Centre, Sandwell General Hospital and Rowley Regis Hospital where you will be expected to take part in cross site working.
We offer a 4-6 months mentorship with an experienced team member so you can feel confident and part of the team straight away.
We would welcome applications from candidates who have previous experience and prepared to undertake the level 2 healthcare support worker apprenticeship programme as part of their employment.
We have two posts at 20 hours each
Main duties will be to assist the clinician in clinic, such as performing Height , weight measurements and taking and testing urine samples.
You will be called to chaperone while the clinician examines the patient
The successful candidate should be friendly, motivated and open to learning new ways of working.
