The postholder will be a high performing HCA, working across Modality Birmingham Division. Main duties of the job
This is a hands-on patient facing role; we are seeking individuals to join our team who are caring, compassionate and confident, who demonstrate effective communication, excellent customer service skills, good IT skills and the ability to support patients with interventions and/or queries. The postholder will be a key member of the practice team, responsible for undertaking patient health checks inc. BP / ECG monitoring / height and weight, taking blood samples, health and wellbeing advice and promotion.

Person Specification: What are the minimum requirements all candidates need to meet?
Qualifications and Experience:

Knowledge and experience
· Working in a primary or secondary care setting
· Data input, Information gathering, Confidentiality
Essential Criteria-
· Recent previous experience in direct patient care.
· Phlebotomy skills
· Proficient in Blood pressure monitoring
· Urine testing
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to follow guidelines and protocols.
Preferable Criteria
· ECG recording
· EMIS / SYSTEM1 proficient
· Suture/staple removal
· Wound care
