Job description
All Healthcare assistant duties including supporting patients’ personal comfort and hygiene requirements in the clinic environment. HCAs work as part of the outpatient team to support and facilitate outpatient service provision by performing and recording routine vital signs and other observations as required. Other key skills for development are ECG recording, bladder scanning and chaperoning / assisting in patient assessment
Applicants should ideally have one year's previous relevant experience and have a pro-active approach to a rapidly changing service. Personal and professional development is encouraged and supported where applicable to the post. Flexibility regarding hours of duty and location is an essential requirement for this post.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the KGHFT Outpatient Service for a Band 2 Health Care Assistant based at Nene Park OPD.
Outpatients are busy, friendly departments and the successful applicant will be required to undertake a range of varied tasks in support of clinical activity. A flexible approach is essential as you may be required to assist in Outpatient departments Trustwide according to service needs. .
