Job description
The successful applicant will be joining a highly successful team that prides themselves on innovative, responsive and caring on a day surgery setting (Spinal/Urology and Cosmetic Surgery).
The role will entail providing support to ensure the efficient running of the operating department, recovery and discharge areas. As part of the wider theatres team, you will assist with replacing stock, runner to theatre scrub nurse, ensuring cleanliness complete relevant paperwork and any other duties required to keep the department running smoothly. Having a "can do" attitude and paying attention to detail, contributing to quality improvement/audits are essential.
To work as an integral part of the nursing and Multi-disciplinary team, providing a high standard of patient centred care. Working within the multi-disciplinary team to deliver care, maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner.
Previous theatre experience required.
Day shift working, no nights or on-calls. Benefits would be pension contribution, 28 days annual leave and good training programme.
